CGL launched at JCK Vancouver 2009
Canadian Gemological Laboratory (CGL) made its first appearance at the premier jewellery show ‘Collections by JCK’ and showcased its exclusive gemological, research and educational services to the trade. Participants were particularly interested in the new advanced technological instruments that CGL is using at its new facility: Digital Computer Microscope to record inclusions and track diamonds, and Full Spectrum Grading Box with both fluorescence and LED light to record true colours of diamonds in different lighting environment. Both instruments and different grading and bench lamps and loupes are available for sale through CGL’s subsidiary ‘Gemological Research Inc’, distributors of DAZOR instruments for the jewellery industry in Canada. Branko Deljanin, President, and Nada Travar, Office Manager at CGL, greeted visitors who showed keen interest and were impressed with what CGL had to offer.
